For people who don't know the story-- basically, the guy is killed and turned into a ghost, who's only way of communicating with others is through a psychic medium. In this scene, the psychic let's the guy take over her body in order to finally interact with the love he was forced to leave behind. When she closes her eyes and holds the medium's hands, she's no longer dancing with her-- but dancing with the man she thought she'd never hold again.
